Big thanks to Norah Sharpe for her advice and guidance on revising this puzzle from an earlier attempt (in other words, I kept the theme but everything else is new).

This grid was somehow more difficult to construct than when I did it the first time (without letting my software help me), but I chalk that up to higher standards, haha. It's not as meme-oriented as its predecessor, but I hope the clues still have a fresh voice.
